Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Yong Chen, who runs ttfxai.com ("ttfxai", "serac", "we", "us") as an individual. By using ttfxai, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information. If you don't agree, please don't use ttfxai.

1. Agreement

You must be at least 18 years old to use ttfxai. By using it, you confirm that you are. If you use ttfxai on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

ttfxai turns photos you upload into short AI-generated videos, currently effects based on trending memes. It is a digital service: once a purchase goes through, your credits are added to your account and you can use them right away. Prices are shown only on our pricing page, not in these terms.

3. Third-party AI models

Videos are generated by third-party AI video models. We currently use ByteDance Seedance models through Kie.ai. We send your photo to the provider only to generate the video you ordered. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models ourselves. The provider handles the data it receives under its own terms.

Results are produced by AI. Likeness, movement and expressions can differ from the examples on our pages, and from one video to the next. Videos are entertainment content: don't rely on them for legal, medical, financial or any other professional advice.

4. Accounts

You need an account to generate videos and to buy credits. You can sign in with the methods shown on the sign-in page. Keep access to your account and to its email address secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account: don't share an account or create several to get around limits. If you think someone else is using your account, email support@ttfxai.com.

5. Your photos and consent

  • You may upload only photos of yourself, of an adult who has agreed to it, or of your own pet.
  • You may not upload photos of public figures or of anyone under 18.
  • Before you upload, you confirm in the upload form that you have this permission.
  • You're responsible for the photos you upload and for how you use the videos you make.
  • Photos that aren't used for a video are deleted within 24 hours. Photos used for a video are deleted 7 days after upload. Finished videos are deleted 30 days after they are ready, so download the ones you want to keep.

6. Payment

  • Orders are processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Waffo Pancake is the seller of record for your purchase and handles payment, tax and invoicing.
  • Payment card data is handled only by Waffo Pancake, which complies with the PCI-DSS standard. Your card details never pass through or are stored on our servers.
  • The charge may appear on your bank or card statement as "Waffo" or "ttfxai".

7. Credits

Everything you buy on ttfxai is credits. Each effect costs a set number of credits, shown before you generate.

  • What credits are. Credits can be used only on ttfxai. They can't be exchanged for cash and can't be transferred to another account.
  • How long they last. Credits from one-time packs never expire. Credits from a monthly subscription are valid until the end of the billing period they were granted for; unused credits expire then and don't roll over. A yearly subscription grants credits every month; unused credits roll over from month to month within the subscription year and expire at the end of that year.
  • After you cancel. If you cancel a monthly subscription, you can use that period's credits until the period ends. If you cancel a yearly subscription, the year you paid for continues: credits are still granted every month until the end of that year. Credits from one-time packs are not affected by cancelling.
  • Which credits are used first. When you generate a video, we use the credits that expire soonest first. Credits that never expire are used last.
  • Technical failures. If a video fails to generate, times out, or is blocked by a safety filter, the credits are returned to your account automatically.

8. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you chose) until you cancel. When you subscribe, you authorize us and Waffo Pancake to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed (or a new price we have told you about under section 11), until you cancel. If you have a yearly subscription, Waffo Pancake emails you a reminder before it renews. One-time credit packs are separate, single purchases and never renew.

9. Cancelling

  • You can cancel online at any time: choose "Manage subscription" in your account menu or the site footer, which takes you to the Waffo Pancake customer portal. You don't need to email us to cancel.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your subscription stays active until then, and you won't be charged again.
  • Waffo Pancake emails you to confirm the cancellation.

10. Refunds

We don't promise a particular result from a video. Technical failures return credits automatically (section 7). If you haven't used any of the credits from a purchase, you can request a full refund within 7 days of that purchase, once per account. We fully refund duplicate charges. Other requests are reviewed one by one. The details are in our Refund Policy.

11. Price changes

We tell you at least 30 days before a price change. The new price applies from your next renewal after that notice. Cancelling before then stops the new price from applying to you.

12. Acceptable use

You may not use ttfxai to:

  • impersonate anyone, or make videos of people who haven't agreed to it;
  • harass, bully, threaten or defame anyone;
  • commit fraud or scams;
  • make sexual or sexually suggestive content, or any content involving minors;
  • make misleading content, for example presenting a video as a real conversation or a real event;
  • infringe anyone's rights, including privacy, publicity, copyright and trademark rights;
  • scrape, crawl or download the site with automated tools beyond normal search engine indexing, attack or overload the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows it;
  • use the videos to train AI models that compete with ttfxai;
  • resell the service or your credits.

When you post a video, label it as AI-generated wherever the platform asks for that. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without a refund for credits used in breaking them.

13. Content and intellectual property

You may use the videos you make, including posting them on social media, as long as you follow these terms and the rules of the platforms where you post them. We don't claim ownership of your photos. You give us permission to store and process your photos and videos only to provide the service to you, for the time set out in section 5.

Names of other companies and products on our pages, such as ChatGPT and TikTok, are used only to describe the trends our effects are based on. ttfxai is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them.

14. Disclaimer

ttfxai is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that the service will always be available or error-free, or that a video will look the way you expect.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of ttfxai. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

16. Ending your account and changes to these terms

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@ttfxai.com from your account email; we delete it within 30 days. Unused credits end with the account, so if a recent purchase is still unused, ask for a refund (section 10) first. If we close your account for a reason that isn't a breach of these terms, we refund unused credits from paid purchases in proportion to what you paid.

If we change these terms in a material way, we post the new version on this page with a new version number and effective date, at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you have an account, we also email you. If you keep using ttfxai after the effective date, the new terms apply.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the competent court where the operator is located. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer protection law of your country or region that applies to you and can't be waived. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

If you have a question about a charge, please email us first, before you open a dispute with your bank. Most billing problems can be fixed quickly that way.
